This is a more difficult review to write. Somehow, this one got through Quality Control. When I first took it to the range, the trigger felt wonky. It fired, and was fairly accurate, but the trigger was all over the place. I sent it back to Tristar, and they did whatever they did. The trigger was still off. After some investigating on my own, I discovered the trigger pin was broken. I called Tristar, and they wanted me to send it back. It had already cost me almost $55.00 in shipping and FFL fees. I didn't want to be out another $55.00 for a $400.00 gun. I called Tristar again - they do not sell parts for this gun. I debated just cutting my losses, but called Tristar yet again. I got a helpful person this time. She told me that the gun was a CZ-75 compact clone and that CZ parts would fit. CZ sells the pin for $2.00. It is now a sweet pistol. I keep it in my headboard as my primary home defense gun. Overall, a good gun, but their QC is lacking.

Love this pistol. Took it out to the range with my buddy (with his glock 45) and this pistol challenges it in every way. Loves anything that I've put in it so far from federal aluminum to fmj Winchester. Even some cheep Russian wolf rounds from rule King. Very tight pistol from sights to magazine fit. Slide fits inside the frame (which is said to make a pistol more accurate) and is very tight and smooth. Comes with two 15 round magazines, padlock for carrying, and magazine loader. I have the stainless steal c-100 which is printed on the side Cranik 55. Sights are very low. I have read that a some do not care for the pistol grips (and I was worried myself) but I thought that they looked and feel very good. Will not replace them as I thought of doing before I received this pistol. Good pistol for concled carry. You cannot find a better pistol for around $400 or even $700. Love Buds and won't shop anywhere else in the future.

Man all I have to say about this Firearm is Its A Sweet Shooter!!!! I give this firearm a 10 Star rating. Ran like a Champ! Flawless! And to all the Naysayers I got Two Words for You; Bud Rocks! This is my second Canik and its a very good Firearm!

100 rounds through it and I'm highly impressed. ... comparing it to my Glock 19 9mm it challenges it in every way.The firearm itself is a steal for the price! Comes with cleaning kit, gun lock, and 2 15 round mags. Will definitely return to buds.

Ordered this handgun and I had it in my hands in around a week and a half. Gun was pretty dirty from the factory but a quick wipe down with a rag provided me with a beautiful pistol. I just ran 50 +p rounds through it and it functioned flawlessly. I didn't pay much attention to accuracy. Maybe next time I'm out. I got two 15 round mags, a magazine loader, and cleaning kit. My friends and I are all very impressed with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to a friend.

Just OK. Finish on slide is not nearly as nice as the chromed Canik S-120 I got from Buds, same manufacturer, just smaller pistol. Shot only a few times, and the chrome seems to be wearing off already on the breech face and rails. The S-120 (again same manufacturer) seems to have a much thicker chrome finish with no wear at all, this with about the same nbr of rounds, less than 100 per pistol at this point. The build on this C-100 just seems to be of lessor quality and isn't consistent with the full size S-120. The frame on this C-100 is ultra lightweight anodized alum. The slide's chrome finish isn't as smooth or nice as that on the S-120 (I think you can tell that I'm a little disappointed with the finish on this C-100, as compared to the S-120). I may contact Buds about this finish/wear issue this soon with so few rounds, and I am glad that I did purchase Bud's lifetime warranty.

Really nice gun. Very pleased. Took it to the range today and it was dead on. There's no way the other gun's that cost twice as much could be any better quality. I'm patting myself on the back for a wise decision. My gun is Chrome and everything is well machined. You can't buy a better gun for less than 400.00 dollars. Buy one I promise you will be pleased.

The C-100 is perfect for carry, and very accurate. The mag does actually hold 15 rounds. Very low price for everything you get. A hard case, two mags, a mag loader, gun lock, two cleaning tools, and manual. Buds is the best, they are now my first choice for firearm purchases. I expect these pistol is to be out of stock eventually due to the high quality and low price. Highly reccomend.

I received my order promptly with everything in order. As background, I own five different 9mm semiautos, so my views reflect comparison of this item with a wide range of similar pistols. The gun comes in a solid hard plastic case with 2 15 round magazines (not the 13 in the listing, they've updated them), plus a small speedloader to help push in rounds. I ordered the chrome C-100 in 9mm, and it is a beautiful gun. Fits my hand well, maybe a little thick on the plastic grips. The gun is slide heavy with natural pointing. The white dot sights are not quite as large or bright as my SIG, but it is the right set up and came correctly aligned. It has a safety rather than a decocker, is a typical single or double action pistol, with double only for the first shot and that only if you don't rack the slide, as doing so cocks the pistol. So normally you are always in single action. Take down is very simple, much simpler than many 9s - there is nothing finicky about it and it doesn't need a single tool or punch. Everything is solid and the tolerances are very tight. The single action trigger is very light, tiny takeup and a very clean early break. The double is longer and stiffer, not great frankly, but it just isn't needed. And this pistol is accurate. In my first 90 rounds through it, I shot 873 out of a possible 900 - think 30% chance of a 9 ring, everything else in the 10. For under $400, I can honestly say this is the best value I've ever seen in a 9mm pistol. This thing is the quality of a SIG more than twice its price. Couldn't be happier...

I have nothing bad to say about this gun it was an excellent choice. It is very accurate, has minimal recoil, easily concealable, no failure to feeds or fte's after 500 rounds, and reminds me of the CZ 75 except I think this one is even better!! The price was perfect and the ease of ordering through Budsgunshop was top notch as always. Two thumbs up and I would definitely purchase again in a heartbeat. The guy at the gunstore where I picked it up gave me a lot of props on this choice too lol.

What I like: The build quality of this gun is very high. The frame is flawless. All the machined surfaces are nicely finished. I would say that the quality roughly equals that of a Tanfoglio (I like Tanfoglios) and is far better than my CZ 75. The trigger feel is really quite good as well. It's smooth in double action and relatively crisp in single action. This is not a gun that will need a trigger job. The gun shoots great. It points like my CZ 75, and I found I was accurate with it immediately. Typical of CZ 75-pattern pistols, recoil was nearly non-existent, and the ergonomics are excellent. ** I really like this gun. ** What I do not like: The plastic grips feel a bit chintzy. However, they are easily replaced with something better. The sight dots are filled with glow-in-the-dark paint. It is off-green in color and hard to see in the daytime. I will repaint the dots white. For $370, delivered, this gun is a very good buy. I would purchase another one without hesitation and I would have no qualms in recommending it to someone else looking for a 9mm handgun.
