I have had this rifle for 5 year and have done many upgrades i.e., stock, handguard, railed gas tube, railed dust cover, trigger, grip. The rifle is well manufactured. Since it is a Yugo AK, not all the standard AK parts will fit, such as some stocks. Magpul and some of the other parts manufactures are starting to make Yugo AK specific parts. The only issue is that the threads for the muzzle are not true. If I were to use them and install a suppressor, I would get a baffle strike. I am having a third party rethread them.

Better than the Wasr I have. Very solid receiver. Well built gun. Metal caped hard wood buttstock.

This thing operates great. I was told it included a steel mag but I'm thinking they just grab what's available from a pile (mine came with a p mag). It fit the pmag easily however needed a little filing on the internal rails to fit the steel factory mags. This thing is super accurate, however seems to be shooting powder everywhere when you fire in the dark. I haven't had any issues, operates flawlessly. The mags fit super tight however I hear that's different for every gun. The wood is a good quality seems surplus, looked way gnarlier when I opened the box but when I cleaned it it actually looked really nice. It hasn't had any issues and is super easy to clean. I hear you will eventually have to replace the bolt spring fairly quickly but no experience with that. Would take a serbian AK over a copy CIA made in GA any day. Got on recommendation from my friend that NPAPs were the way to go and was not disappointed.

I love this gun. Have shot eveyr kind of shell through it and it eats them up, no problems at all. My sons had told me it didn't care what you put through it, it would get it done. Love shooting it also. The 7.62 x 39MM is a bad ass round. I see why the communist had an advantage on us. If I ever get enough money saved up I will buy another one of these for sure, nothing Wrong with having two. Tom

Took it out this weekend after field stripping and lubing it and a smooth and flawless transaction with buds. Ran a couple of magazines of cheap steel ammo and it ran perfectly. Good fit and finish, sights were accurate and no issues with cheek slap like other people have mentioned. Very happy with purchase. Recommend

While this N-PAP is a little pricey compared to some other AKs, the look and feel are worth the money. The wood furniture is beautiful and the buttstock angles down more/sits lower than than other models, so the shooter's cheek/jaw sits lower in relation to the sights. This means the shooter's face doesn't get beat up from the recoil. I put 300 rounds through her at the range on the first day out with zero malfunctions.

Love this rifle, i have put over 1500 rounds through it and not a misfire.

Yugo AK's are the best bang for the buck! More 3rd party parts are becoming available and others parts can be made to work with a Dremal.

Sights were straight, but the gas block and rear trunnion were misaligned. Also, the rivets were not pressed all of the way against the receiver.

This Serbian AKM is a beast. Eats any ammo you put in it and is accurate right out of the box. Buds is extremely professional with great service. Received this fine rifle 2 days after order. I would recommend this rifle to anyone that wants a high quality AK that doesn't want to bother with a build kit. Mine also came with the Warsaw style stock instead of the high comb stock that may complain about with cheek slap. This is a must buy for any Ak47 purist or collector. Built to Serbian/Yugoslavian specs imported by Century arms. Sights had no cant. Only complain is my safety selector does not work (no safety/ will fire with selector in the up position) and the bolt catches on the hammer at times. If you shoot the gun the hang up will eventually stop with wear.

I really like this rifle and the quality is very good. There's no need for the stainless steel barrel! Why give up accuracy and most rounds available today are non-corrosive. Despite what others have said, I have zero complaints with the sights. I bought when Century had a $50 mail in rebate. So at $450.00 (shipping included), this has to be the best deal on the market. My only complaints are that the Zastava N-PAP will not accept all AK Magazines and the stock and front hand grip are different than all other AK's. Accessories are limited and that's why I gave it a 4 STAR

The yugos are my favorite ak. Its a great rifle and more refined then the saiga or ras. Buds did an outstanding job like always. Thanks buds.

I finally got the CIA N-Pap to the range and it worked flawlessly. I am a Vietnam era veteran and I know the AK's reputation for functioning under adverse circumstances. Because of the straight stock, I purchase a clear adhesive cheek pad that is manufactured by Berretta. I cut it to fit and it helps a lot because of the "cheek slap" that comes with a straight stock. I got the suggestion from Hickock45 but I opted for the clear Berretta pad because it does not take away from the guns aesthetics. This weapon is just as tough and durable as my old SKS. Bud's Gun Shop service was excellent. I only wish I had noticed their lay a way option earlier I would have ordered again sooner. As a "seasoned" citizen it allows me to still order within my budget.

I love this AK. There is something special about the craftsmanship that is put into these Zastava produced AKs. I often find myself preferring this one to my Arsenal SAM7sf which cost over twice as much. This gun has been very reliable and is well built.

WARNING!! Do not buy this rifle if your planning on shooting it with only the iron sights. I bought this after i sold my Wasr10 years ago and was without an AK platform for a long time. The finish on this gun is good very uniform and looks like it will withstand some abuse. The wood on the rifle is great very clean and modern. The safety requires some muscle to operate but at least you are sure its on or off, one unique feature is the bolt hold open cut into the safety which is great when you want to go to ranges or shoots that require an open bolt or use of a chamber flag. The sights are pretty accurate for open sights and an AK, BUT here is where the problem is. The stock has such a high comb that its extremely awkward to get a decent sight picture, and when you do the cheek slap is unbearable. So much so that i actually put it away until getting a scope. Anyone who fired it would give up after only a couple rounds because it was so unwelcoming. The operation runs smooth, doesn't get held up anywhere like some cheaper Wasr10's. Overall good scoped AK platform, but very rough with open sights.

I've had several AK's but this one was the straightest one I've ever had out of the box. No canted anything! Very pleased with the rifle I got and the service .

Super fast shipping, very smooth transaction from buds to my FFL. As far as the firearm.. it's an ak it's going to go bang! All I can say is learn from my experience and learn to shoot this platform correctly before buying a whole bunch of stocks and adapters, you will not get cheek slap if you shoot it correctly.

Shopping at Bud's was a very positive experience, as they shipped the order very fast and I received it at my fil quickly. The product a Serbian NPAP was spot on. It arrived packaged nicely and was beautiful. The wood has a really nice finish and the rifle itself was stamped and machined well as far as cosmetics go. I haven't shot the rifle yet, but this is the nicest AK platform I have seen astheticly. I am very happy with my purchase.
