Woof, the trigger on this thing is the foulest thing ever. It has the longest pull, the hardest pull, and will easily malfunction by failing to rotate unless you completely remove all weight from the trigger on the reset, making fast follow up shots very unreliable. My mother can't use it, it is just too awful for her to operate with reliability. It had light primer strikes out of the box. I sent it in for repair and it is better, but still misses 1 out of 20.

The Ruger LCR 22 LWMR is one of 6 calibers that Ruger has currently in the LCR configuration and I have ordered 4 of them thru Buds. I was happy with the purchase and the delivery from Buds. I have ordered several other guns since then from Buds as well. I also appreciate their email notice system when a product is out of stock....I have now ordered 2 different pistols when I was notified they were back in stock. Buds does a great job keep you informed on where your order is and when it should be at your FFL. Will definitely re-order from them in the future.

I bought this firearm from buds a while ago fire great but the problem is aim i cannot find a position on the site that will fire on target. I bought a "laser" for it helps a little but even that i had problems with. Ive heard ruger has alway had sights problems tho. As for budsgunshop good speedy service and very helpful customer service

My hands are getting older and my semi-auto pistols feel like a block on my side. Revolvers are always more comfortable to carry concealed. That is why I picked a Ruger LCR Revolver for personal protection

Well made little revolver. The trigger pull is a little on the stiff side. Excellent service from Buds as usual.

Nice little carry gun, light and compact. Trigger pull may be too heavy for some people.

I bought this as a replacement for a similar revolver that didn't fit right in my hand. The LCR is a comfort to hold, but practicing with it is a definite necessity. With the fixed sights, double action only and short barrel, it takes a bit to shoot a tight group even at 15 feet. For me, the ease of carry, light weight & the .22 WMRs that I chose for it are all plusses that I'm happy with.

First of all the price on this gun was the best I could find, on-line or in my local area. I received the gun from a local dealer it was shipped to, in perfect, new condition as advertised. The gun itself is perfect for my needs, as a small, light but powerful and accurate conceal carry weapon. The gun performed flawlessly after shooting about 100 rounds of CCI WMR 40 grain rounds. This was my first purchase from Bud's and I would definitely purchase from them again! Mike C.

As always, great service from Bud’s Gun Shop. I have purchased many weapons from this provider and have NEVER had a problem. The Ruger is an excellent weapon. I have fired more than 1,000 rounds and have had no problems. Shooting this gun is a lot of fun and valuable practice. I will order more guns from Bud,s.

Review for the LCR is positive. Not so much for Customer Service. After purchasing, but 2-3 days before it was shipped, I found the same pistol on line from another dealer for $90 less. Not $10 or $20 less but $90. I know now I should have researched prices more but I never expected much of a price difference among dealers. I called Bud's "Customer Service" and inquired about cancelling the order and was told there would be a 10% charge which I did know was stated in their policy. I asked if any price adjustment could be made considering the large price difference and was told NO!. I asked "not even $10 or $20 ? The response was, "there is nothing I can do", not let me check or anything, just NO!. Why didn't I cancel the order as I would still be $45 ahead with paying $44 to cancel? I would have to wait for a refund before I could buy elsewhere and wanted the LCR sooner, nor did I want to deal with Bud's concerning anything. Which I will never do!

Dealing with Buds is super easy transaction, shipping ect all went well. Now to the gun the ruger lcr 22 mag is super light. So makes for a great carry gun for the ole lady. Not a lot of muzzle rise, a little loud but that should be expected for any short barrel. The ole lady enjoys shooting it and surprising accurate for a short barrel revolver. Trigger pull is a little stiff but all in all its a smooth action and just a good shooting little gun. I will be purchasing another for myself. If your in a toss up revolver vs automatic go with the revolver I like it better than my Springfield xds 9mm. I highly recommend this gun, you won't be disappointed.

I was totally taken aback by this firearm. From the start I have had a blast with this LCR. It works great and is accurate up to 30yrds and that's right out of the box. Be ready for some noise when its shot. Lots of fun.

I bought this with the belief that the LCRs are the smooth triggers on the market. Maybe they are, but not on the rim fires. Don’t buy this for your wife/girlfriend, daughter etc. It has zero recoil being that they won’t be able to even pull the 18lbs trigger. Very, very hard trigger. Wish I would have done my homework. Google it, this is not a female friendly gun. Disappointed. As always Buds is great. Can’t say enough about them. I guess I am going to have to buy something else now. What, am I going to do with this 22Mag now????

Great service! Product is also fantastic, but I knew that before placing an order as I already own 2 in .38 Special. Only wish I could have also purchased some Critical Defense ammo at the same time!

Buds as always was a great place to purchase. This might be my new carry, light weight, potent 22 mag will ruin anyones day. Ruger continues to build outstanding pistols and this one is no exception. Nice black finish, acceptable trigger, and great grouping at 15 yards. Bought it on a whim just to add to my collection, purchase #8 from Buds, I shop at all the sites, no better palce to buy!

This gun is perfect for practice and good concealed.

I have the Ruger LCR in .22LR (got it for my wife) and I've been eyeing up this .22 WMR for quite some time. Placed an order and it was delivered to my FFL dealer two weeks later. Took awhile longer than is normal from Bud's as did my last order. The weapon is very nice, a seven round capacity would have been nice instead of six as there are 8 rounds in the .22LR. Little more kick than the .22LR but not like my S&W 642 .38. It's almost as loud as the .38, though. Put 100 rounds through it today at the range and it functions perfectly. Trigger is a little stiffer than the .22LR LCR but that will loosen up (put 150 rounds through the .22LR as well to compare the two). I'm hitting the same spot on the target with both guns (a little left at 7 yards). I used Armscore 40 grain SJHP ammo without a hitch. Ordered some Speer Gold Dot JHP's since that seems like the best performing self defense round. 5 stars for the LCR in .22WMR.

Again, thank you Buds for another great purchase. Bought this gun for the wife and we just took it out to the range. It performed flawless and as designed! Wanted to speak up about this Gun, my first purchase from Buds and went smooth from start to finish!! wont be my last!! When I first picked up this Gun I was a little suprised to hear the common "Rattle" called Ruger and they let me know that all of these guns have that rattle, so all good took to range first used the "Speer Gold Dot " ammo I am far from a great shot but shot first box of 50 and all placed within about 5" group at 7 yards tried again with some " Winchester X " ammo and Group grew out to about 12" with a few flyers. ran 1 more box of the " Speer" ammo again about 5" group at 7 yards and about the same at 15 Yards!! Gun is tight, light, easy to shoot, fits right in pocket, a+ in my book when used with the right ammo!! Nate

Every thing on Buds and my dealer went fine. Got It today it came in yesterday. The L C R is fine except the grips are about 1/2 inch too short. I just sent an email to Ruger to see if they have some. I wish ruger had never started using Hogue. I have never liked any of them. I guess its cheaper for them. They carry good grips that used to come with their guns. They are back to cardboard boxes.

Ruger hit another home run with the LCR mag. Great litle carry gun and I shot up a lot of the center in a target the first time out with it. And for Buds. This is the second gun I have bought from them and considering I live out of their home state they made the buying process and enjoyable experience.
