Surprisingly well made for the price, with the exception of the finish. After just two thorough cleanings, the finish was not holding up as expected. Other than that, this little pistol is a joy to shoot and Buds was on point with my shipment.

I bought this pistol to help get my wife used to shooting a pistol. She loves the thing! She went from a non shooter to asking me if we can go shooting. It is a good weight and after probably 100 rounds, no misfires. It makes a great snake gun for working on my property. Based on the price, I highly recommend.

Great little gun to target practice with

This is a pretty little revolver that shoots point of aim right out of the box. The birds head grip feels good.

good gun for the money,accurate fun to shoot ,not a 700.00 dollar smith but then again what is.buds was great highly recommend them.

I have mixed feelings about this gun after my first range session with it. First the positives: It looks great out of the box and is nicely balanced. It shoots as accurately as I can expect to shoot over iron sights. The cylinder pin is a little difficult to remove, but overall the gun is well built. I have read elsewhere that some folks have had problems with the finish wearing quickly, while some others seem not to have experienced this. Sadly, my revolver is already showing some flaking of the finish on parts of the frame, and the bluing on the cylinder faces isn't holding up well either. I'm crossing my fingers that this isn't a sign of rapid wear to come.

This is a great little 22 revolver. It's fun to shoot no recoil and with a 22 magnum cylinder makes it a real small game and pest control at close range.

Just opened my Rough Ryder 22/22m. What a nice piece for under $200.00 Its heavy and made well . I noticed it even has 4 clicks when you pull back the hammer . The wood is nice and dark with a nice finish. I purchased the same type in 22lr. from a different manufacturer and this revolver is much better as the other brand has a 2 piece barrel with a sleeve for the barrel and surrounded buy the fake barrel made of some type of pot steel and it's really heavy. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a 22 /22 mag. For a fun gun.. I only found one thing wrong , it didn't come with the gold colored frame screws that gave it a bit of class.. As the ones in its picture. I GIVE IT A 5 STAR RATING...Great buy..

love the birds head grip, gun is 36oz empty and feels great, i have a 41 colt from 1892 that has a birds head grip to compare it too and while its not a colt, i am impressed with the look and feel of this gun, even has the 4 clicks when you pull the hammer back, being a 22 and 36oz, next to nothing on recoil, very happy, first time ordering from buds and on internet, ordered on saturday picked up on thursday, very fast, thank you

I ordered this gun from Buds. Instead I received the round barrel model. While checking the pistol out it has an excellent lock up with both cylinders and the trigger pull is less than 3 pounds. I liked it so much that I didn't want to send it back. Maybe a mistake but this is one of the best shooting single actions I have ever shot. Thanks Buds for the mix up. As they were both the same price no problem at this end.
