Bond Arms BATD45ACP Texas Defender 2RD 45ACP 3"
by Charles S Date Added: Friday 09 July, 2010
This is an excellet little gun. Recoil with full-power .45 ACP 230 grain Ranger T is less than one might expect, and that load averaged 793 fps out of the short 3" barrel. Cocking the hammer takes a significant effort, but its not hard to get use to. I didn't buy this gun for carry, but as a fun range gun. After shooting it, I found it to be perfectly reliable and more accurate than I expected; I may well carry it as a BUG when I carry a .45 ACP auto as a primary. If necessary the Bond can be reloaded right out of .45 ACP magazines, or the Tuff Products Quick Strips for the .41 Magnum hold .45 ACP rounds perfectly and are spaced just right to reload both chambers at the same time. Highly reccomended for someone who wants a derringer. I can't wait to get additional barrels for mine!
