I have Pearce Grip Extensions for my XD 9 Subcompact, XD 45 Compact and Kahr PM40. In particular on the Kahr or the XD 9 SC, the Pearce Grip makes it possible to have a full fingered grip on the pistol, as opposed to having the pinkie dangling below the floorplate if the Pearce is not used. Granted, it does increase the overall height of the pistol, in the XD's case it probably adds 3/4" which may be a concealability issue for some, but I consider it a worthwhile tradeoff. The Pearce Grip matches the pistol perfectly and looks good as well.
