I bought this stock for a Maverick 88, and it was a perfect fit without any of the spacers. The only modification I had to make was to take a Dremmel to the nub that kept it from folding flat. The supplied instructions tell you exactly how to do this, and it was pretty simple. I also bought the 5-shell holder that screws into the stock. It was very easy to install (the stock is pre-drilled for it). I ended up removing it again because the gun would not fit into the scabbard case with the shell holder on it and the stock folded. I may put it back on and store the gun with the stock extended, but that will depend on where I stach the gun when not in use.
I'm very happy with this stock, feels solid and well made. I'd definitely feel comfortable recommending it. Bud's was great, and had the best price on this stock of any place I looked.
