It is a sporter Mosin stock. You will probably have to sand the barrel channel to get the barrel to free float, and if you are adding a Timney trigger you will have to do a LOT of in-letting to make it fit. The butt pad does help tame the Mosin Russian Mule Kick, The buttpad is known to warp and pull away from the stock over time in the earlier models but supposedly that has been fixed in the later production. The sling studs are nice for quick release slings and are solid if you want to put on a harris style sling swivel bipod. Cheek comb is a nice height but will probably need a pad to make it higher if you are adding a scout scope.

I've noticed that others have had some fitment issues with this stock, but, none here. Everything dropped in perfectly and no modifications were necessary.

LOTS OF GRINDING!!! If you do not own a dremel tool I do not recommend this stock. Not a simple drop in. After all the work done it looks pretty good. Does NOT lighten the weight of the rifle if that is what you are hoping.

Very nice stock. Took some very minor sanding on certain friction spots to make the barrel/receiver sit perfectly in this stock. Less than an hour of overall work, and it looks perfect! I ordered two Mosin's from Bud's, one got placed in this new stock, and I refinished the other two.

Buds has some amazing shipping i ordered on 10/8 and it was at my door on 10/10!!!! The fitment of the stock did need some small modification but i expect that since not all Mosins are the same. I would recommend Buds and this stock to anyone.

Very nice Mosin Nagant stock. I picked up a great, high quality scope mount to go with it on ebay. Ebay seller was bullseyexpress . I found it on a youtube video. Great stock for the money!

The stock is good quality, fit perfectly and was installed in less than 10 minutes. I think this stock takes a lot of weight off the rifle, especially off the barrel end, so that the rifle feels more balanced. It also fits the shoulder better and promotes a better trigger angle, which makes the rifle easier to aim and funner to shoot in my opinion.

The stock looks good from a finish standpoint. The fit, however, leaves much to be desired. There is a whole lot of material that had to be removed for the cartridge interrupter to function properly. Also had to remove material to get the barrel/receiver assembly to fit correctly into the stock. Bud's was great as usual!

This stock fit my Mosin 91/30 perfectly. The finish on the stock is smooth and clean. I just wish it came with a rubber butt pad, but really can't complain for the price.

I bought this stock after I purchased my Mosin Nagant from buds. Delivery and customer service was amazing from Bud's as usual! The stock fit perfect! No modifications were necessary. Fits perfect, shoots perfect. If I could give Bud's 10 stars out of 5 I would!

Second purchase from Bud's. Great experience. I purchased a barreled action Mosin Nagant, and promptly ordered the ATI stock from Bud's. No modifications were needed for my rifle. Assembly took minutes, since I did not have an original wooden stock and metal bands to remove. However, my model was the rounded top. I don't know if a different model Mosin Nagant would render the need for modification. Over all: purchase and shipment was great, stock fit is snug, finish is great, I say 5 stars. Enjoy!
