Walther P99 Compact Pistol 9mm Quick Action DAO [WAP80000]
by Jeff P
Date Added: Sunday 05 March, 2006
After shooting a couple hundred rounds out of my new Walther P99c QA, I can say that so far it's an excellent gun. It's very accurate and had the perfect "feel" for me (this is why I bought the gun to begin with). It seems reliable, giving me no jams or problems of any kind. The ambidextrous mag release is a nice feature; the only problem is that, while great for target shooting, in a defensive situation, shaky hands might have trouble pushing the small levers. Mags pop out and go in quickly and easily even at odd angles. The trigger was surprisingly crisp out of the box, feeling like it was already broken in - not too tight or loose, no "crunchiness" like I had heard a few times about it.
