I have been looking for a large caliber, compact carry gun for a few weeks. I rented a lot of different types at the local range. I went with the 6+1 round 745 instead of the 10+1 model, because I wanted the slimmer design. 300 rounds later, I have not had a problem. I added a laser rear sight since then. I has a somewhat long trigger pull, that I want to prevent ND's in my pocket, but it is easy to pull and not so long that it is a problem. Very quick and easy to field strip for cleaning. Very happy with this.
