I just received this gun last week. While firing the first cylinder full of cartridges, the gun locked up with the trigger in the "pulled" position. Could not move trigger, hammer, or open the cylinder. After jiggling a while I was able to get it open safely. Tried firing the gun some more. It operated fine in single action, but in double action the gun locked up after each firing. After firing, the trigger could not be pulled again, and either the cylinder had to be opened or the gun cocked to get it to operate. It functions fine when empty, but not after the impact of firing.
Taurus has agreed to repair it, but I bought this for a trip to Alaska and they will not do it in time. I got the item quickly from Bud's, but unlike other on-line gun retailers, you're on your own after the purchase. They will not do anything to help rectify the situation caused by the defective product.
