This is a fine gun especially for Cowboy Action. I own a pair and shoot them in matches regularly, using my custom loaded 45 LC ammo...hand cast 165 grain TC lead over 5 grains of powder. The gun is almost a perfect balance and the action is smooth enough to compete right out of the box without any expensive additional tuning. The factory tunes them for cowboy shooting.
The gun is well made and I have never had even the first screw start to loosen up or any parts wear whatsoever. Besides, they do look good, especially the stainless version. The transfer bar safety is definitely a plus
The other reason I chose these guns is the enviable lifetime warranty on the guns, not the first owner as is the case with more expensive pistols. Only my Hi-Point has the same warranty, my Ruger's do not.
I don't think you can go wrong with these guns for CAS.
