These are infact Ruger Standard mags.

The 8 magazines I purchased did their job well. Unfortunately the Ruger Mark 4 Hunter had "Stove pipe issues" with 5 diffent brands of ammo. The gun was returned and Ruger stood tall and refunded my purchase. I really admire the easy take down feature, fluted barrel, and fancy grips. Would rebuy if the reliablity was solved.

Works great in my Mark IV and BUDS delivers without any surprises.

Never had a problem with them in Mark III Hunter.

I am a 30yr gun collector and I own every single Ruger MK pistol made I-IV Targets, Hunter, Lite (every color) and Tactical etc. Like all of Rugers magazines they are top notch and very reliable. mk-iv-22-45 They are really simple to switch out if you have a lot of MKIII mags and want to use em with a Ruger 22/45 model. I usually buy a 100 mags for any gun I shoot for my Ruger Mk's I buy a double for on model and the rest I keep NIB as a collectable I do this with many different makes of firearms as well. Anyway I made a mistake last year I bought 100 of these mags I was in a hurry and was forgetting I was going to use em on a MkIV 22/45 Tactical and there was no warning it the item description anyway YES technically my bad for not reading it thoroughly. Luckily all I needed were different foot/base pads as did not want to pay a restocking fee which Buds requires for accessories returns. Also one big reason I try to buy only my firearms from Buds as the return policy for non firearm products is not all that great no offense Buds ; ) . Lastly these mags are very hard on the hands so I would buy a loader for them.

Good price, speedy delivery, looks good, but unfortunately I am waiting on Ruger's safety recall to be performed before I can try them out!

I was glad to learn that the Mark 3 magazine is the same as the Mark 4 magazine. I did call ruger to confirm this. At the same time I learned that the Mark 4 pistols have been recalled for a defective safety and it doesn't sound like it is going to be resolved quickly!

The magazines work flawlesly. I personally don't like the plastic bottom cap.

The Ruger 90231 magazine works with my Mark IV pistol. I ordered four and the quality of all four is excellent as expected.

Ordered two Mark III magazines and they arrived FedEx today bright and early. Fast shipping and of course they are perfect. In OEM frustration free packaging and will use a little CLP to wipe off the sticky packaging grease/oil and they will make life much easier at the range. I couldn't find a better price including shipping on any other website. Thanks Buds and I am always checking your site for that best deal. In fact you are bookmarked in my favorites.
