The G34 is a great pistol. I have been shooting Glocks for a bit over a year now in IDPA and I can say, by far, this is the best IDPA pistol I have shot. It almost feels like cheating. Recoil with 115gr 9mm is negligible. Follow-up shots (double taps) are easy to keep within 5 inches at 15 yards for me as a relatively new shooter.

The Gen4 is even better since I am left-handed I can swap the mag release for faster reloads during competitions. I have long fingers & big hands and the extra back-straps are great for finding a good fit for my hand.

I recommend a "$0.25 Glock trigger job" (Google it if you don't know what it is) of course but I also recommend dumping the adjustable sights for something else. The rear has a hard time holding zero (it's plastic). I've always dumped the stock factory Glock sights so this was not a real issue for me.

Great pistol. "Meh" sights. Overall: worth every penny.
