All I can say is, WAHOOO! This thing is fun to shoot! I found myself very anxious to pick this one up, and it’s definitely not the nicest firearm I've ever bought, but definitively unique. It is one solid built firearm, and although I've never owned a derringer, it blows any others that I've had a chance to handle out of the water. As a previous review mentioned, the trigger is a little stiff at first. Instead of pulling back, you have to kind of pull down/back at a 45 degree angle. I ran some 3" 4 & 6 shot, some 2 1/2" 000 buck, and some 45 LC through it. I don't know about any grouping. This is an up close and personal piece of equipment, and for that it will do an excellent job. You wouldn't want to run any 4 or 6 shot through it with anything you didn't want to hit even close to your target. 000 buck pellets stay fairly tight up to about 7 yds. The people at Bond Arms are outstanding to deal with! I'm a left handed shooter, and even though I normally adapt to right handed equipment, I called Bond to ask about flipping the release to the other side, which they did for the price of shipping cost to and from them. They turned it around in less than a week. I've since bought a .22 lr barrel for it to plink around with. I haven't had a chance to fire any rounds through that barrel yet, but switching barrels takes less than a minute.
