this pistol is awesome! i love the look, the feel, the finish, the iron sights, the grips, trigger, etc. the safety features are great too. mag disconnect, loaded chamber visible and tactile indicator, and a right hand friendly thumb safety.
its a lot of bang for your buck too. it eats everything i feed it, except for low velocity (subsonic) ammo. i dont mind, i wasnt expecting it to cycle that stuff anyways, so im not dissappointed. other than that, its flawless with hollow point, ball fmj, lead ball, truncated, stingers, yellow jackets, you name it. this is my first .22lr pistol, but it wont be my last from Ruger because of the great quality.
comes with 2 mags, of decent quality. feeds, fires and ejects reliably, even during some rapid trigger action. shoots dead-on accurrate, i couldnt ask for better accuracy out of these iron sights. i was hitting a gallon jug at 55 yards, no problem.
its definetly helped me become a better shot, since i am able to target practice much more often, because .22lr ammo is much more affordable.
