Ruger 10107 22/45 Target 10+1 22LR 5.5"

Great Plinker...once you remove the Magazine Disconnect Safety spring and bushing. There is a bushing you can buy that perfects this gun. With the unneeded mag disco safety removed it functions just like any other handgun. At 7 yds I put half a box (250rds) in the 10 spot at the range using Federal Champion .22LR using the stock sights out of the box. I have a Burris on order and soon we'll see how much better it runs using that. The only con I can think of is the difficulty in field stripping the gun. It is pretty hard the first four or five times, and many will be put off by that. I needed to use a punch for the mainspring and a deadblow hammer to seat/unseat the barrel until it loosened up a bit. There are plenty of videos on youtube for both the field stripping and the mag disco safety bushing removal. I love this plinker!
