If your looking to spend a few hours out at the range no need to worry about how much you shoot cause with less then $50.00 you could shoot all day long and this gun will keep up with you. I shot 500 rds my frist time out had one FTF. If you think you can shoot good now well this gun will make you feel like you are a pro. Almost no recoil and groups so thight you can blow the red dot off any target. I shot from 10 yard to 40 yard and was able to get very good grouping. BUTTTT if you are thinking of field stripping better think again. Wait till you get home and take your time about it cause you'll need a few tools to get it apart and back together. OH and watch the video on line http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to/video/how-to-disassemble-y- our-ruger-mark-iii-rimfire-pistol-258774/view/ It will be a great help. I think after 3-4 tries you'll be okay All in all I'm very happy with this pistol. Still give it 5 stars I don't mind the extra time in taking it apart.
