First handgun! It's simple, easy to use, and fit well in my budget. I plan on using it for my CCW once I take the class.
I was on the range within 10 minutes of picking it up from my local FFL. The very first round jammed, but then fired another 99 with no issues at all.

On the range, once I got use to the trigger, my groupings were respectable.....all would have been good enough to take out a "soft target" if you know what I mean.

I have spent the first week dry firing it to smooth out the trigger pull....which is sort of rough....but a great safety feature since there is no manual safety on the gun. I plan on performing the "trigger mod" that includes polishing all moving parts but not any replacements as I want to keep the gun stock.

My thoughts?? I love this gun! Like I said, it's simple. For protection, I feel not having the saftey is one less step you have to take when pulling the weapon on someone should you have to. The stiff trigger is great for safety.....maybe not great for target shooting but not bad for self defense. Not so sure I'm going to be concerned about how hard the trigger is to pull should I have to defend myself....I think the adrenaline will compensate!!
