This was my first online firearm purchase, and I must say that it went as smoothly as it could possibly go. Bud's Gun Shop had the gun at my local dealer three days after I placed the order, which was awesome. As far as my new S&W sigma 40ve, it has lived up to all my expectations. I have put over 200 rounds through it since I received the gun last week, and haven't had a single issue or malfunction. The gun feels great in my hand, and I got used to the infamous heavy trigger pull after four or five rounds (though I still might get it modified). You would be hard pressed to find a quality firearm at that price, so if you're on the fence about purchasing the sigma .40--go for it. It looks cool, shoots reliably, and it won't break your bank. I'll be shopping through this site in the future, without a doubt.
