The CZ-85 is easy to conceal for a full sized auto and not too heavy. I like the option to carry the weapon in condition 1, cocked and locked. I like the all metal composition.
The gun fits real well in my hand and is a natural pointer. I can reliably hit a paper plate with it from 10 yards without using the sites; point shooting.
I just like the classic look of the pistol. My CZ-85 is very accurate with good groups at 30 yards offhand. The accuracy is wonderful at combat distances of 7 to 10 yards.
I did have to drift the back site a bit to the left to zero the weapon. I like the fact that the chamber fully supports the case, and will digest lead bullets without problems.
The pistol is very reliable digesting from standard to +P rounds, from ball to HPs of all varieties with no failure to feed, stovepipes, failure to fire, or failure to eject.
If there is a bad primer or failure to fire the weapon allows a second strike capability by simply pulling the trigger again.
The enamel coating has been durable so far with a minor chip from banging on the slide release which is required to field strip the weapon.
I fixed the very small divot with black enamel nail polish; there are better methods to repair the enamel but nail polish works for me.
The CZ-85 has become my favorite weapon, my main CCW, and I highly recommend it.
Finally I recommend BUDs as I have purchased over 10 weapons from them without a hitch; excellent service.
