First of all 5/5 stars to Buds for my first purchase from them. I ordered my Bersa on Monday 2/6/12 and picked it up right after it was delivered to my FFL on 2/10/12.
Second thanks to Friendly Pawn in Loveland, CO. Friendly service from the older gent in the firearms section. Although the younger employees weren't kind of snobby. Anyway I got it all transferred for $20 and 30 minutes.
Finally the gun. When I first got it the gun was doused in oil from the factory. Not a problem I would have cleaned it regardless before shooting the first time. This pistol feels great in the hand and with its textured grips and finger grooves it stays where it should while shooting it. Some of the bells and whistles on this include a slide that locks back on empty mag. 8+1 capacity. Loaded chamber indicator. Single and double action. A safety with a decocker. An internal lock and key.
I did actually shoot this before reviewing it and i was very impressed. I would say this is accurate for a .380, but its not, this is accurate for ANY caliber. Even using the machined sights which were not too awful as they still have small white dots. At 7 yards I was able to get all 9 shots on target shooting rapidly my first day with the gun. I believe the fixed barrel helps with accuracy as does the ergonomic grip because I am certainly not the best shot in the world. The finish looks nice so far even across the gun and not fading after two thorough cleanings, if it gets worse I will update this but I don't think it will.
If you are thinking about getting this gun do it already, its cheap, accurate, comfortable and nice looking.
Oh yeah, one last thing, I had not one single FTF or FTE with cheap Tulammo. 50 rounds no problem. I also had no problem using Hornady Critical Defense ammo.
