What is wrong with me?! I've owned two of these. Both times I sold one, I'd wonder why I did (so I'm about to order another one now). A person does not need to like 9mm to understand this pistol. It is versitile in every way: incredibly accurate to shoot, 15 rounds per magazine provides fantastic flexibility at the range or for "gravel pit" shooting, ammo is always available and always cheap, and it takes all the abuse you can give it. Don't want to clean your gun after a range trip? With the G19, don't worry about it. I put over 4,000 rounds of 10mm through my G29 this last year and only cleaned it maybe 6 times. It still shoots perfectly as the day I bought it. Extend those results to the G19 and you do even better with the cheaper ammo. Giddy-up!
If you're considering a mid-size, high-cap 9mm, be sure to put the G19, the S&W M&P and the Springfield XD on your list of guns to try. None of them will dissapoint, and one of them will feel very natural in your hand. Good luck!
