I have yet to take the rifle to the range, so far not impressed with the stock. The stock is the cheapest rifle stock I have ever felt. Action is as smooth as any savage. could have at least came with a scope moint.

The Stevens Model 200 in 300 mag. is as good a gun as anybody would want for hunting any thing that walks in north america. i have owned alots of guns in my 62 years of all brands. this gun is right up with all the rest. good gun!

good bargain. fast shipping. shoots good. light for carrying long distances. a little heavy on kick for a small man though. a real good gun.

this gun is awsome exelent recoil, light as a feather, and groups are within a half in in the 300 win mag , of course i bought this gun just to get something cheap for now but i will stick with the savage stevens i couldnt belive how straight shooting this gun is every time bullseye for the money i would compare this to the rem 700 but better

The Stevens Model 200 in resolved my dilema of trying to choose the best caliber. With the low cost, I simply bought two, one in 300 Winchester, the other in 243 and the problem solved!!
