I purchased this handgun in late July, and the only real issue I seem to have with my sp2022 is engaged to the magazine and the shape/location of the slide release lever. The mag (the ONE that Sig ships with this weapon) regularly fails to lock the slide back when empty and also releases the slide when inserted into the firearm firmly. As for the slide release lever, it's very large and I find I really have to change my strong hand thumb placement when doing double taps and Mozambique drills or my thumb will actuate the lever and lock the slide back. Never had this issue in other firearms. To Sig's credit, this gun is ACCURATE. I really can't stress that enough. Also, I just got off the phone with Sig and they seem truly interested in making sure I'm happy with my weapon (allot more than I can say for buds.com)
As a side note, if you like having a large selection of holsters to choose from, this would not be my first choice. Very few manufacturers supply holsters for this season system. This newest version does not fit the same holsters as the previous 2022/2009. I will say, in my opinion, there is no da/sa external hammer (second strike capable and de-cocker equipped) handgun or there that can compete when you look at overall value.
Overall, great gun if you do your homework. It's a perfect example of how important it is to do some research before deciding which handgun is right for you.
