At the risk of sounding like every other review, I still must applaud Bud's for their service and communication skills. This is my third purchase with them but only the first using their layaway option. They stayed in constant communication with me and then delivered my firearm as soon as final payment was received. Now time for the handgun review:
The first thing I noticed when I inspected the gun was that it was filthy dirty. Nothing to keep me from not accepting it, but it almost looked used. This I believe was due to the factory test firing. However, what better way to bond with your new baby then to spend some quality time cleaning it. After a thourogh scrubbing, I polished the firearm to an almost chrome finish. (The satin finish also contributed to the dingy look.). After I made her pretty it was off to the range. And yes, she is a BEAST!
I used Hornandy 300gr and 350gr rounds. Yes it hurt but no, it didn't send the firearm over my head. I will track down some 500gr and 600gr rounds and see what those do. The firearm itself is completely useless!!! The case it comes in is similar to the size of carry on luggage and the gun itself barely fits in my range bag. Furthermore, every trigger pull is the price of a Big Mac and unless you think dinasours are going to re-inhabit the earth there is no reason to buy this. In summary, BUY THIS GUN. If you YouTube videos of people firing this beast you will find one thing in common, they all giggle like little school girls immediately after the round goes off. So much fun in a sadistic way.
You will read reviews from self proclaimed gun experts dogging this gun out for technical reasons and labeling anyone who buys it as an idiot. BTW: these people are the same ones at the range begging me to let them fire it. Hmmmmm.........
