As usual thanks to buds for great service. Unfortunately I had several bad experiences with this weapon. I like heritage but both cylinders on this revolver were hard to eject, they got stuck even loading was hard. That's a shame because Heritage has great products. Perhaps after some more shooting things would improve.

Best $200 I have ever spent for a firearm. Non shooters even want to engage big steel targets duel wielding like Josey Wales. Great times had by all in the family especially if you use some form of quiet 22. A brilliant piece. Buds always does a superb job for me.

I received the pistol in excellent shape and it functions well. A bit stiff the 1st few rounds I fired but after a good cleaning and oiling, it shoots smoother now. Shipping took longer than expected but not Buds fault, EFT took awhile is all.

The Heritage Rough Rider is a great buy and a great gun. The inclusion of a .22 Magnum cylinder is a very nice PLUS !!! I have run about 100 rounds through the pistol at the local range using CCI .22 WMR and have had ZERO issues with the pistol or the ammo. Purchased the pistol through "Buds Gun Shop" online and had it sent to my local FFL dealer for pickup. Bud's is great to work with. Love my Heritage Rough Rider !!!

Great, reliable little plinker. The finish isn't the greatest but what do you expect for the price point. No issues with reliability at all. Thinking about buying another.

What a nice little revolver. I had bought this for backyard plinking and only had one chance to fire it six times. My wife, ...who by the way HATES guns and has NO interest in them, ...was watching me shoot from the kitchen window. I was surprised when she came out and commented how cute the revolver was, asking to shoot it a few times. It was small, comfortable to shoot and surprisingly accurate at the 15 yard line for her... and at a great price. I put .22LR in the magnum cylinder which made the 'snap' even lighter for her. Thanks Bud's, I've been trying to get her to shoot since 1984 and this little ditty did the trick. Of course she wants a hip holster to match her shoes now, but I'm good with that. Now all I have to do buy another one for myself....LOL

Buds shipping was fast and flawless. Gun should have been a blem as the finish was poor and I expected a little better. Also had to send the gun back for repairs, the hammer did not work properly. I was impressed with the repair process and time it took (about ten days). The review is based on the firearm alone and not Buds. I give it four stars because of the awesome repair procedure.

I will never purchase anything from Heritage again. I bought a (plainly blemished, but allegedly new) blued Rough Rider .22 with a pearl bird head grip and a 3-3/4in barrel. Folks, the thing busted a spring after a little over ninety shots. It’s broken now, and the cylinder just floats freely forward without locking up at all. Wonderful. I can shake it and hear something rattling around inside, that is likely a broken hand spring, thank you so much. I don’t dare shoot it again because I do not trust the way the cylinder is lining up with the bore without locking, and because I value highly my fingers. I am so disgusted I really I don’t want to touch it at all. I knew they were cheap, but I didn’t imagine they’d be throwing em together with prayers and a stick of chewing gum.
This is NOT the fault of Bud’s at all. I have always been pleased in my transactions with them. I just recommend you save up for a Ruger if you want a truly good single action in .22lr/WMR that won’t immediately toss itself apart like that. Really wow. That was pathetic. I guess I’ll fix it when I get around to it and find out exactly what broke.
I think the score is: Heritage 0, Bud’s 1, Ruger 2!!, and me, ZERO. Be careful y’all, I got burnt. Damned thing said Miami Florida on it.

I bought this little plinker on a whim because it looked a little like the .41 Thunderer. Billy the Kid carried a "Thunderer" and being the "buff" that I am, I thought it would be cool to have one kind of like that. I put a few hundred rounds of .22 mag and .22lr through it, using both cylinders and it performed flawlessly. It shoots high though, and the safety notch by the hammer isn't the prettiest thing in the world and it wasnt all that apparent from the picture. But for less than 200 bucks, it's a fun little winner. I adjusted my aim and was hitting my spinner targets, the faux pearl handles are really nice, and the action is tight and smooth and sounds awesome. In one shooting session, I was able to become really proficient at loading it. It's got a nice heft to it. The ejector rod and the safety switch are plastic. The black finish is already showing some signs of wear. And fanning it (which is prohibited by the manual...) is reeeeaaallly fun. I was able to fan off 6 rounds and remain fairly accurate, theoretically... Fun stuff.
