The Elite model has an extra smooth fitted trigger and a machine-polished slide. Is it worth the extra cost? Aesthetics with a better trigger, more responsive and smoother. Well, buyer's choice. I'd rather have the trigger upgrade, doesn't hurt that it's purty as well. "Mine's the Elite...yours isn't?" Shrug and smirk.
I put 250 rounds through my new K9 Elite in less than 30 minutes (OK I used an Uplula to save my thumbs), and no problems at all. Not one mis-fire, not one mis-feed, nothing. The break-in period in the manual says 200 rounds, I figured what the hay, what's 50 more?
Perfect for concealed carry (aw shucks I live in a
state of gun-fearing people), reliable and totally manageable single-handed. My only sub-sized pistol in a collection of full-framed HK's, SIG's, Glocks, Rugers and Colt 45's, this one is one of my favorites, hands down.
