Beautiful stainless finish. Fits good in the hand and in the waist. A bit snappy, but having the extended mag included is a plus.

Another great transaction from Bud's. Got the pistol to the range today, fired 200 rounds of mixed ammunition and the gun performed perfectly. Steel frame mitigates recoil very well. Very accurate for a tiny 9mm. Beautiful weapon.

I got this with the intention of using it for my first carry gun, but I'm having my doubts. It's small and very nicely made, and I've put about 300 rounds through it so far with only a couple of FTE's (break-in period is stated as 200 rds, so no problem). I am an advanced novice or intermediate level shooter, mostly with target pistols of several calibers but also with other short-barreled guns, and of all the pistols I have ever shot, this is the *only* one that makes me question my ability. With the MK9, I can't get good groupings at all - at any distance - mostly off in the same direction. Maybe it's the gun, or maybe it's me, but in any case, this is the only one of 8-9 very different pistols with which I cannot achieve any accuracy or consistency. I have no easy way to tell if the sights are off, but my suspicion is that the problem lies with the trigger action, which I don't like the feel of at all - very long pull, and hard to tell exactly where it will fire - probably because of being double action. But I've shot several other DAO guns without this problem, so I don't know. Your experience, skill level and technique might be different, but this is the only gun I have purchased that was a disappointment. At this point, I keep reminding myself that accuracy is not that big of a deal for a carry gun ... or is it?

I have two Kahr's that I carry, the MK9 and the K9, more and more I find myself with the MK9 on my belt due to its small size. Don't let the small size put you off. Both of these pistols are very accurate. I shoot +P ammo in both with no hiccups. The Triggers on both are smooth. Note: the K9 is an Elite and of course came with a smoother trigger, however, the MK9 smoothed out with approximately 100 rounds and I now find a negligible amount of difference between the two. The triggers/double action pull is so smooth I find shooting one handed is a breeze. While I considered myself a dyed in the wool 45 cal shooter...I find that when I go out, there's the MK9 riding along. Easy to conceal, easy to shoot..extremely well made. Lastly, I have a circle of friends that when shooting like to trade off our pistols to let others try out their shoot-ability. Everyone that shoots my Kahr's comes away impressed. I highly recommend.

Kahr makes awesome small autos. This MK9 is great for pocket or IWB carry. The Kahr triggers are great, nice and smooth. Mine has been 100% reliable.
