I ordered this plinker from the website and picked it up in the store. No issues with Bud's, as usual, and price was good.
The fit and finish of this rifle is excellent. Very nice wood and bluing on the octagonal barrel. The action is very smooth.
Shoots tight groups at 25 yds with iron sights, and should be a lot of fun for kids, friends, and myself to shoot at a much lower cost than my Marlin 336, AR15s, or PS90.
It functions just fine with Super Colibri and CB loads, which keep noise down to the point where you could claim it is an air rifle.
The front sight was off center a little at first, so I tapped it over, and the gun shoots on target now.
I got this one mainly because of the cool octagonal barrel, and I plan on keeping it nice and clean, never in the rain, and hopefully not to be dinged up by carelessness. It is a litle heavy to carry. This is no Marlin Papoose! If you are looking for a fun, reliable lever gun that you can shoot all day for 10 bucks, you would be hard pressed to find a better buy. If you are looking for a shooter to toss around or keep in the truck, maybe save a few bucks and get the base model that isn't quite as pretty.
