Upsides- The love child of a SIG, and H&K USP. Excellent firearm. FN reliability, quality and efficiency. Priced very well for what you get. Cave-man simplicity. I recently picked one up at a local gun show, my first handgun purchase and gun is extremely user friendly. Eager to get out there, and run it through it's paces. I'm sure it will excel.
Downsides - Accessories are scarce if your into that. They're not as scarce as people make them out to be though.
16+1 Capacity is beaten by other Polymer autos, slightly chunky. Magazine base-plates like to battle some holsters.
Overall: 10/10 for me. It's flaws are irrelevant for my usage of it. It's a wonder alternative to what's out there. Grab one, in any cal. while you can.
EDIT: In the last 3 weeks I have put about 230 rounds of 115gr FMJs, and Hollow points. No jams or hang fires not even the slightest hint of failure. Gun is extremely accurate for a shorter barrel pistol, DA/SA trigger pull is solid, no bs. Gun stays on point when rounds are fired in rapid succession. Loves double-taps. Once again, this is an excellent firearm. I think FN has me hooked.
