First and foremost, Buds was professional and informative throughout the process. As far as this particular PT1911SS Taurus is concerned, I am impressed, fit and finish are great. I have a Springfield to compare it to and I actually shoot better groups with this yet not completely broken in Taurus. In short it out shoots the Springer. I have ran 150 - 200 rounds of UMC 230 grain ammo through it plus 16 H.P. hot reloads to make sure it wouldn't have any feeding issues no FTF, FTE's at all, the mags are a little suspect and I will upgrade to wilson combats plus the grips just aren't my style and they will be upgraded to a nice rosewood or Walnut. If your looking for a nice above G.I. spec. 1911 I would recommend giving this pistol a look, research it. It has some nice features for the $$ spent. I did have 1 failure to chamber a round on the first cycle of the third mag load but being new that isn't an issue. Great pistol for the price and agian Buds is on top in my humble opinion at what they are doing up there. I will be an ongoing customer from here on.
