I bought this gun last November (2010), and have shot this on many countless occcasions...............in the field/woods, indoor range, outdoor range, etc. This is the absolute best shooting handgun I've ever had in my hands. ABSOLUTE accuracy - VERY tight patterns from 20 ft to 75 ft. I've shot both cheap and expensive ammo............never a jam or malfunction of any sorts. The gun feels/fits perfect in your hand (three adjustable backstraps for customization), is relatively light, very little recoil due to the rotating barrel. To date I've fired around 1500 rounds through it without a signle problem. Friends and others at the range are always impressed with it's accuracy................especially when reaching out (and holding 3 to 4 inch groups) at the end of a 30 yard shooting lane. I honestly would rate the quality of this gun above Ruger, S&W, Tuarus, FNH, and AT LEAST EQUAL TO Springfield, Walther, Sig, Glock (which is way over rated anyhow). As far as how it fits in my hand, and the return postion after recoil (faster target acquisition) I'd rate the Px4 ABOVE all the other brands that I listed. The ONLY thing I don't like is the safety (awkward) and the sights are NOT adjustable, and too much of a gap between the width of the front pin/post and the gap in the block of the rear sight......although these sights allow for quicker target acquisition with this gap.........COME ON..............my eyes are still young...........I don't need a hole big enough to drive a truck through !!! (I find this problem with ALL of the Berettas that I've handled).
If you're considering whether to get a 9 mm or .40 S&W..........DO THE RIGHT THING...........40 S&W is the way to go. Much more stopping power, and with this gun, barely kicks more than a 9 mm.
As for Buds.............this was the first of two guns that I ordered with Buds and they are exceptional, and always seem to have the lowest price. (I actually had to return the 2nd gun - AR15 due to finish issues - and it was certainly NOT a hassel............and they covered the return shipping.............no questions asked. Hands down, Bud's is the place to buy your next gun (and the Px4 would be a great choice).
