Great first experience/transaction with Bud's. Applied for the GE Money Financing and was instantly approved. Immediately ordered a KAHR CW9, holster and targets, all of which arrived in only 6 days! Bought the CW9 for my wife who, after findling one at the local gun shop, liked the longer grip not often found in a small frame pistol; this meant no mag-pinch on her pinky, which was a problem with my Glock 26. Also, she found this gun easier to rack than others of my guns (especially my SR9c). She liked the larger lever-type slide release, and the grip is narrower, due to the straight-6+1 magazine, which is perfect for the ladies' hands and makes for easy and comfortable concealing. Although it was a bit oily when I opened the box (as all guns seem to be anymore), the fit and finish on this gun is exceptional. This less expensive version of the more expensive KAHR 9mm's came with only one magazine, but I'll buy more later. We like 9mm's caliber because it is the most affordable today, in personal protection ammo. Here's the problem...after going to the range today to shoot it for the first time, I don't think this gun will ever see her waistband because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!...(and so does she). After 100 rounds, we had no jams, FTF, FTE of any kind. She and I both thought that the recoil was very manageable, due to the longer grip and larger mass than any sub-compact .380 (like a 738TCP, Ruger LCP, etc., which she found to be "too snappy"). Her 110 pound sister who had NEVER even shot a semi-auto before placed a 7-inch group of 6 rounds, from 7 yards the first time she shot it. The sites, although not changable, are perfectly fine for our purposes - personal protection and range fun. My wife has finally found a gun that she feels comfortablke enough to carry. Easy to rack, easy to carry/conceal, easily managable recoil, shoots straight and to the POA, cheap and fun to shoot, and the KAHR reputation for reliability. I've suddenly become a KAHR fan and look forward to purchasing my next one...and yes, it'll be from Bud's!
