The buying experience was great with Buds. Shipping was fast and the gun was delivered to my FFL in excellent condition. I was excited to try out my new rifle. Once I took it out, there was a problem with the firearm. It had trouble cycling ammo, and the action was extremely stiff, EXTREMELY STIFF!!! I was only able to fire 10 rounds before the gun was completely inoperable. The rifle has been sent back to Henry for repairs. I am very disappointed with the rifle.

Got the Henry LR and Mag to make a nice pair with all my convertible revolvers I have. Shoots and feels like a Henry. What more could ask for. Totally happy and will always come back to Buds for more. They make buying on line a real pleasure.

Great gun, fun, beautiful, smooth action, accurate. Easy to pack around. Love the .22 mag. Just like all Henry’s, built very well and will last a very long time. Stay free!

I received the rifle in excellent shape and it functions flawlessly. Shipping took a bit longer than expected but that's the nature of EFT, not anything to do Buds.

The build quality of the rifle is superb. Henry is known for this. The trigger is excellent for a lever action. Wood quality and finish is excellent. The publications mention that the rifle is not designed to be easily disassembled for cleaning but I'm fine with that. It does not seem like disassembly is really necessary on this action. After hundreds of rounds, it does not seem like there is any build up of residue that affects function. the chamber and Bolt face are accessible for cleaning and there have been no reliability issues. I wish they were more available because I would buy more if I could.

This is a beautiful fire arm to open. The quality is unmatched by any pump action rifle. Henry firearms may be my favorite of all and this .22 wmr pump was no different. The action is crisp but not too crisp. It handles any ammo you put in it. Great purchase from Buds.

First, BGS you can’t beat doing business with them. Regarding the Henry 22 mag octagon barrel pump, my first impression is, it seems to be a well built solid rifle. I was a disappointed that the main receiver is not blued, it appears to be a powder coat type of finish (reason for the 4 stars). Not sure how durable it will be over time but time will tell. Haven’t had time to shoot it yet, I will try to update review after sight in.

Classic double Hammer a must own

Put a nice quality scope on it. pretty darn accurate out to 100 yards. Fun to shoot, very smooth. Two thumbs up!

Excellent firearm. I was fortunate to be able to get it. Nothing else like it in this price range.

This thing is a real POS. Would jamb with round in chamber,very dangerous. Henry finally, after explaining that I did not know how a slide action was supposed to work, agreed to take it back and repair it. I will never buy another Henry.

What a beautiful firearm. I cleaned it before taking it to the range but it did not need it (I always do at least a bore swab on new firearms). The fit, finish and wood are top notch. The action is just slightly stiff but that was expected. The sights were off(low and right). Elevation was an easy fix with the ramp rear. Front sight appeared to be centered so I inspected the rear and it was right of center. Drifted it and it was right on. A very fun rifle to shoot. The transaction with Bud's was smooth as always. Price was about the same as others but no sales tax or shipping sealed the deal. Very happy with this purchase.

The first gun was damaged in shipping. My FFL called and told me I would not want the gun. About 10 minutes later I contacted "Chat". I was told they would send a pickup order. About three days later another gun arrived. My FFL told me Bud's must have sent another gun before they received the damaged gun. Smoothest solution to a problem I have ever experienced. The replacement gun was in typical Henry's condition--beautiful wood, action smooth as silk, excellent dark blued finish with gold lettering.

The gun arrived earlier than expected. Excellent job from our friends at Buds. When I opened the box...what a beauty! Absolute craftsmanship from Henry Rifles. I took it to the indoor range (21 yds) that Saturday and pretty accurate from the box. Used 50 rounds of Winchester 22 Mag - at it cycled good without jams or misfires. Then I switched to CCI 22 Mag Green and the accuracy improved remarkably. Next trip will be to the outdoor range and will try out at 100 yds to see how it will perform.

Liked the looks of this rifle and I wanted a .22 mag. Still have not fired it but the workmanship appears to be as good as you can find.

My new Henry 22mag "Pump" rifle is great, first time use 6 bullseye's out of 10 shot. Every Sportsman and Sportswoman should have one. J

Beautiful gun, and it’s a ton of fun to shoot. I mounted an old fixed 4x scope to it with some see through rings.

Buds as always shipped quickly and delivered a great product for the money. The 22 mag pump action from Henry works great. Just remember it's an external hammer and you need to change your grip slightly on the stock so you don't cut your thumb open.

Just picked up the 22 Mag version to go along with the 22 LR . Haven't shot either one yet but I will. This latest Henry makes my 6th Henry in my collection of Henry's Fine Firearms. Yes I Love my Henry's as they are so very awesome. One great company to boot as well too... Get ya one ya won't be sorry for sure.....

Made in the USA, or not made at all! Another Henry added to my collection. I have the Henry Oak and Glass Eight Gun display case and I only have one slot left. This made my 10th Henry. (I have a Mare Leg in .357 and 2 of the AR 7's as well. They are too short for the cabinet, so they are stored in the lower locking section. Thank God I found Bud's after buying my first two Henrys. I saved enough to by 2 more guns! If you have never fired a Henry .22 pump, you are missing out on some fun. I bought the Magnum edition instead of the LR, just for fun. I do not "hunt" anything but the 10 Ring and this gun will get you there, if you have any skills at all. Definitely a HenryHolic and becoming a Bu-0-Holic too. You can't go wrong with either.
