Great rifle. Fired a whole 555 rounds Winchester value pack through it at its first range session. I only planed on shooting 200 rounds but I could not stop shooting this rifle, it's just too much fun. Not one malfunction with the BX-25 magazine and the included 10 rounder. Accuracy was very good out to 100 yards for a 16 inch .22 LR barrel. Zeroed it in for 50 yards, bullet drop at 100 yards is about 5 inches. The rifle was very dirty towards the end but it kept going without any issues. I did clean and lubricate it before shooting. Buds shipping was always excellent.

The Ruger 10/22 is one of my favorite rimfire rifles. The classic hardwood is beautiful partnered with a blued barrel. Sights are great with fiber optic pipes that shine bright in lighted areas, they line up exactly on target. They are comparable to a pistol, that took a little time to get used to. Magazine options are endless, and the gun shoots every brand of 22LR from cheap to high end target rounds. The shorter barrel makes carrying and/or tossing it in the back of the Can Am or truck so simple. This is my 4th 10/22 and out of all of them this one sees the most action. I got the compact version 10/22 mostly for my kids to shoot, but the size is really comfortable for me to shoot as well. Very accurate, and it's a lot of fun to shoot. I do wish the bolt locked open on an empty mag, and that the bolt release were a bit easier to operate, for the sake of introducing young new shooters to firearms handling, though I know those things can be changed after-market if they were really important to me.

Handy little rifle. Shorter length of pull and barrel. Looks good too without the barrel band on the standard model. I purchased this for my granddaughter to use when she is old enough to learn to shoot. Fiber optic sights are great and appear to be both windage and elevation adjustable on the rear sight.

An excellent buy. Short , light weight feeds cheap rounds well. Ruger built an excellent weapon and Buds did an excellent job getting the weapon in my hands. Would buy again.

Just ordered this sweet baby! going to last decades and decades to come would recommend to everyone what is looking to purchase a .22lr rifle, this is semi-automatic that can hold 10-30 rounds and shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger. very reliable and has a wide verity of accessories for it as well. I wanted an entry level .22 cal rifle that is reliable and fun to shoot. The Ruger 10/22 compact rifle fits the bill very well. It's well made and there is a huge user group to leverage experience and recommendation. There are also many many potential upgrades available for the rifle. The rifle can be a little finicky during the break-in period but again, lots of experience to leverage. The advertisement for the rifle is too minimal to make a knowledgeable decision or even understand what you're buying, but by doing a Google search on the full title and model number, you can find what you need. The shipping was super fast and the ordering process was simple.

One of my favorite .22lr rifles to take to the range and plink around with. Compact size makes it nice and lightweight, but still plenty capable. My rifle arrived with sights that were destroyed from the factory. The rear sight was canted, with no way of fixing it. And the front sight was pressed into the dovetail instead of being properly slid in, making the rifle unusable. I contacted Ruger and they had a replacement barrel in the mail the next day. Replaced the barrel and this rifle is now shockingly accurate, and the fiber optic sights are incredible. If you are looking for a 10/22 (which there are plenty of options) i highly suggest this model if you are looking for a good iron sight plinker. Also as always in regards to Buds themselves another smooth transaction, customer for life right here.

Product was shipped promptly. Worked great. This compact model is a little bit of a stretch for my six year old to reach, but it will be perfect for him when is about 8 or 9. My only issue was with the 25 round ruger mags. They had a lot of feeding issues.

What is there not to like about these great gun I've put a good 3000 and not one problem, my 10 year old daughter shoots it and hits golf balls at 50 yards out with no prob. Great beginners gun and experienced I like it so much had to get another one. This one is one of my favorites and you can shoot it all day with out breaking the bank.

It's a 10/ 22! Enough said. Put a new mount on and a nice red dot. And just enjoy shooting this wood beauty!

Very handy little rifle. It looks like a kids gun next to my Marlin model 60 but it is every bit as serviceable. I am 6'1 so the LOP is a little on the short side for me but it is manageable and it just about right taking into account backpack straps. I bought this little guy mainly to take with me hiking and camping and to keep in my truck around the farm. I chose this over the takedown for its classic looks and fewer moving parts to worry about while still being lightweight, handy and packable. It rides nicely under the sleeping pad on top of my ALICE pack. The fiber optic sighs are great. I actually prefer them to the Tech Sights on my Marlin for hunting. In dimly lit woods they are like little candles set on fire in front of your eyes. Buds was great as usual. Bought on the 180 day layaway without a hitch.

Pick up my 10/22 this morning from my local FFL dealer. Very nice .22 and the wood stock is pretty. This is a very light weight rifle also. Since the rifle is under the Christmas tree, I don't expect anything less than perfect from the performance. Buds was fast at shipping, it was shipped out on a Friday and arrived at FFL dealer on Monday evening. Thanks again Buds for the fast service you provide. I highly appreciate the services and products from your online and in store inventory. I recently bought a Ruger 10-22 CRR I love the payment set up to accomodate my budget and the timely shipping to a local FFL Dealer. Upon receipt everything was perfect to myself and the clerk. But after I got home and thoroughly inspected my gun I noticed the fiber optic was missing from the rear sight. It was nowhere to be found in the packaging , so I am sure it was that way from the factory.I am very happy with the product except for the above foremntioned. I will continue to make purchases from your company.

Order and Delivery from Bud's was excellent. I purchased this particular model 10/22 for competition in Rimfire Challenge events in the Limited Division. The rifle performed flawlessly and the ease of use for shooting steel is excellent. I will do some minor enhancements with KIDD parts but you can take this rifle out of the box and begin competing! My brother was so impressed he ordered himself one after shooting mine.

Own one of these from the 70's. love it. Thought I would get a newer 2nd one. Love this one too. Nice target practice rifle. Great prices at bus's.
