About the weapon. LOTS of cosmoline. LOL But after a good cleaning, and some remiol it was range ready. I fired all shots at 10 yards. I got this weapon for CCW, so I don't do a lot of shooting past that with handguns. The mag springs are real stiff at first. I'm sure a week of break-in will solve that problem though. The trigger pull is nice. The pull on the first round is long, but noticeably smooth. And after that the reset is nice and short. The trigger breaks crisply, and the pull weight is very manageable. The felt recoil was low. And the weapon was comfortable to shoot and handle. Before I left the range I fired 200 plus rounds through it with no failures. At the end of the day I shot 2 strings of 5 shots each. 1 slow fire string. And 1 "rapid" fire. (A shot every 1 to 1.5 seconds) The slow fire group measured in at just under 3 inches. And the rapid fire group measured just over 6 inches. So, 200 plus rounds with no failures and more than acceptable accuracy. With fit, finish, accuracy, reliability, and handling characteristics that are on par with Glocks and Springfields that I have owned and a price tag under $300 I don't see how you could go wrong. This is easily one of the best values on the market. I give the weapon 5 out of 5 stars.
