Safe queen, absolutely beautiful rifle. I can attest to its accuracy with Hornady leverolution ammo .

Beautiful out of the box. Main reason for the purchase is to hunt wild hogs and deer. I love the all weather design of this rifle. Very smooth action.

Could not be any happier. What a beautifully made gun! Smooth as glass action. Trigger is smooth, light, and crisp. SS with black/grey stock is very nice. As usual Bud's service was top knotch and my Bud's Team was invaluable on this transaction.

This thing is sweet. Cannot say enough good things about it. Love the way it feels, carries, shoots and it's powerful enough to put food on my table.

This is my “go to gun” when Deer hunting. Bought from Buds many years ago and it’s still my favorite rifle. When I put the crosshairs on one they don’t go far. Buds is always the best to buy from my experiences.

Beautiful rifle. Mine had a very small flaw in the middle of the stock on the right side (low spot with about 3 small scratches). Other than that, the rifle appears to be flawless. I really like the look of the stainless steel and the laminated wood together. I have not fired the rifle yet so I can't comment on that, but its appearance is a good as I hoped.

I guess I got the Monday morning hangover example from the assembly line. Service and price from Bud's was the usual world-class, no complaints there. The rifle was beautiful out of the box and shot decent groups with whatever I fed it, with one major functional flaw. At least one round out of every tube would not chamber, no matter how much attention I paid to fully cycling it, or what ammo I put in it, including the LeverRevolution that it was designed for. Might be the second, 4th or last round, different all the time, but always a "click" at least once per mag tube when there should have been a "bang." I called Marlin and the customer service rep seemed annoyed and basically tried to talk me out of sending it in for repair, saying that they will only test fire it and if it fires good then they'd just send it back, so zero support from the factory. Very different from 20 years ago when I sent an 1895 back for a feeding issue that pre-Remington Marlin corrected immediately and with enthusiasm. Took it to a gunsmith and had him take it apart and debur everything, which slicked up the action but didn't solve the problem. Kept it for a year hoping that use would break it in but it never did. I consigned it and got rid of it. Thankfully I still have my 1998-era walnut 336 that runs flawlessly. Two stars for nice fit, finish, and decent accuracy, but sadly, unreliable.

Price I thought a little high for the rifle but worth it . Love the 3/4 magazine and 24 " barrel . Metal finish was well done with no flaws . Stock nicely done . My only criticism would be the design of the butt stock . Too much drop on the comb for accurate shooting with a scope . Ideal for a peep or open sights . Hard to shoot accurately with a scope when your cheek has no support . At least for me . Wish they would put a butt stock on it like the Winchester Model 94 Big Bores had years ago with a higher comb . All in all a sharp rifle .

It's as accurate as it beautiful. I had excellent results with factory hornady lever revolution rounds. Right around 1moa. so I wont even bother handloading for it. I did replace the trigger with the one from Wild West, the factory one was around 8lbs. and too heavy for my tastes. Easily one of my favorite firearms.

My first .30-30 and I'm glad I opted for this model over the others, even if it cost more. I've put almost 100 rounds through it and works great! Fit & finish are excellent, cycles smoothly, the laminated stock is excellent and the color pattern looks very good with the stainless steel. I'm glad it has a thick recoil pad for times I'm shooting 40+ rounds at a time at the range. Since then I've installed a 1-peice scope mount with a 4-12X40 scope and it works great! I'd recommend this rifle to anyone looking at a .30-30

I am really impressed with this gun. It's accurate and it looks really good. I was able to shoot 1MOA with factory ammo at 100 yards.

I absolutely love this rifle, very smooth action, very accurate and pretty to look at too. Owners manual states that you may have to change the follower if you intend on shooting hornaday leverevolution as it may not cycle the last round in the tube but I've personally have had no issues.

WOW, what an awsome rifle for the price! With the new Hornady flex tip, this 30-30 is easily a 250 - 300 yard deer rifle. I know most will not believe it, and I didn't think it could be true, but I took it to range after receiving from Buds last fall and was shooting 1/4 in groups from bench at 100 yards to sight it in for deer hunting in WV. Everyone at the range was extremely impressed with looks and especially jaw dropping at the consistent grouping (with Bushnell scope). Ended up shooting 20 rounds to get famailar with rifle, and groups stayed in 1/4 inch even with hot and dirty barrel. Took my first deer with a single shot between shrubs at just over 250 yards, shooting up hill, by restinig it on the top of a fence post. But be prepared, those Hornady bullets EXPLODE upon impact!!! Took my 2nd deer from shoulder at about 125 yards and went down with 1 shot, and the hole in the deer was big enough to put my fist through. Again folks, this is simply a 30-30...but with the Hornady flex tip and this "cheap" Marlin rifle. Again, I know most will not believe that you can get a rifle shooting 1/4 in groups consistenly for this price (especially a lever action 30-30) but that's OK. I wouldn't either and neither did my family or friends till they saw it in action (and that's with them sinking $2k out for MOA rifles that aren't MOA except in advertising). Also, there are those that will say one shouldn't take 250 - 300 yard shots for deer, and that's OK...but look, I get 1 week per year to deer hunt (without baiting and tracking), so I take what I can get when I can get if I'm comfortable with my rifle and the shot. Thanks Buds and Marlin...WOW!
