So I've done extensive research on this gun before I bought it. This particular model is absolutely the best balance weight(polymer), no safety/Double-Action-only(DAO), concealibility, magazine size compared with its width of .9" (possible because it's single stack), and the polygonal barrel has the added bonus of winning over my friends when we whip it out and compare whose is better. Comparing it to the Shield or G43, I truly believe this is better. That said, the recoil spring is a non-captured spring, meaning, if you put it in backwards and then say, fire a hundred rounds through it, BAD things will ensue long before you've reached the recommended 200-round break-in. So, BEFORE you field strip this amazing gun, find an "exploded diagram" somewhere on the web, and determine which direction the curly pigtail end of the spring should be pointed. That said, mine came with the spring backwards, which is why I'm going to make sure you look it up yourself, I'm not going to give you the answer, stop relying on some dumbass in the comments section. Yes I'm talking to you. I love this gun. If my wife ever divorces me, this gun and I are moving into a cabin on a mountain together. Stop drinking the Glock-flavored cool-aid. Out.

I own a lot of Kahrs for a reason. They are my favorite for carry. Didn’t really need this but when buds had such a good price I couldn’t pass it up. Thank you Buds!

Perfect size CCW PISTOL, 9mm, 16oz and at 10 yards a tac driver! I don’t know why Kahr hasn’t caught on, but like CZ they are finally getting the praise they deserve.

This is a great .9mm! Put the mandatory 200 rounds for break in through it without one hitch. Very accurate and the trigger is very sweet! Also, Bud's was always excellent as usual. Definitely recommend this pistol.

I sold my Kahr (CW9) so I could buy some ties for my car. I missed my Kahr so much I bought another Kahr, the sexier upgrade P9 all black with a Walther polygonal Barrel and other nice features . I love it's slim profile and how it feels in my hand. Get some Talon rubberized grips, and some Truglo TFO Sights. They are so bright my gun looks like it runs on Nuclear power, much brighter than Trigicon. Also, the feel and control is amazing. It's not as wide as my Glock 43 so it does not show as much inside the waste band. They are practically identical in height and length. I like the double action only trigger smoothness all day long. I don't like the G43 trigger a whole lot, at the range shooting 100+ rds, it's ruff and can irritate your finger. The Kahr P9 does need a breakin period for sure ! (200 rds) even the magazines. Thats because of it's tight tolerances because it's CNC machined. It was a wrestling match getting the 6 & 7 rds in the mags too !. (Got a nice blister to show for it on my thumb). It came with 3 mags, (2) 7rd mags & (1) 8rd mag. The 8 rd mag also needs breaking in. It kept wanting to come out after each shot and I had to slap it back up. Then after a while it was also fine. I received it on a Thursday took it to the range Friday to break it in then I qualified with it the Saturday scoring a 100 on my target with a group so big I could almost put my fist through it. Kahr also has a special going through August where if you buy ANY Kahr pistol you get a free mag thats a $30 value right there. Bud's had an AWESOME price for this ($478) so I put it on layaway untill I got paid again. I love my Kahr's and I love Bud's !! Get you one you'llbe glad you did !

This pistol has quickly become my preferred carry piece. Paired with a crossbreed min-tuck, I forget it's there. It also easily slips into a pocket holster and a pair of cargo shors for a quick trip to the store. I like that it's so light yet still gives me 7+1 rds of 9mm. Surprisingly accurate for a 3.5 inch barrel and recoil was less that expected from some a light pistol. Put a crimson trae laserguard on it and I couldnt be happier. Fired about 250 rds through it so far with no issues.
