I bought the Plr-16 a couple of months ago because I've always wanted an AR pistol, but was put off by the extra buffer on other pistol systems and not willing to put down the extra thousand for a Rock River PDS or better. After having it out a few times I can say that I didn't go wrong with this purchase. As others have stated, it is VERY LOUD, expect attention if you intend to shoot it at the range. I don't know about others, but mine was unpredictable with steel cased ammo, sometimes it would empty a magazine just fine, other times the case would stick in the chamber and I would have to rod it out. On the other hand it ate all of the brass cased ammo I fed it just fine, so that's all it gets now. A fore grip is definitely recommended, as the barrel heats up quickly. However, I was not impressed with Kel-tec's fore grip and opted instead for a solid aluminum one from Red Lion Precision (Google it) that has three picatinny rails. This is not only functional, but in my opinion, makes the gun look very sweet. Finally, get a muzzle brake, I picked up the one Kel-tec makes for it and it's not too bad. You won't make any friends at the range though, because muzzle blast is directed sideways and to the rear. Overall I am very satisfied with this weapon, get one if you can.
