Received my PLR-16 last month. Installed fore end and flash suppressor (old school M16A1 3-prong). Completely disassembled and cleaned prior to first firing using Breakfree.
Well made, Kel-Tec has come a long way. Shot 250 rnds, with zero failures. Using a mix of mags; GI issue (green follower), oem, and pmags. Pmags and OEM do not drop free. Ammo was PMC 55grFMJ, and Wolf 55grFMJ in steel cases. Steel worked just fine in gun.
Noise and flash....are substantial. If you run a muzzle brake, you'll need 1 or 2 crush washers to index it correctly. A brake will increase your noise level though, so I opted for a simple flash suppressor. The 3-prong does not need indexing.
With a bipod, it's easily a sub MOA gun.
Gun is fun to shoot. I have a 5rnd AR mag for it, and it will be my HAM gun for Javelina season next year.
