This is a fantastic pistol. It's got an awesome fit and finish and offers nice weight and balance for a full size pistol. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the double action trigger pull; it is reasonably smooth, but it is definitely on the heavy side making an accurate first shot difficult unless you cock the hammer manually. However, the single action pull is light and crisp for a "duty" type weapon.
Slow fire and bench rest accuracy is pretty amazing out of the box. (My first five off-hand rounds grouped under 2" at 25 yards using bulk ammo.) Further, the extra mass of the metal frame makes quick follow-ups much easier by absorbing more recoil. (Compared to most polymer pistols) Also, while I only have a little over 100 rounds through mine so far, it has functioned flawlessly, regardless of what I have fed it.
Obviously, it won't be the first choice as a CC weapon for most people. But, in my opinion, it is an outstanding choice for a home (particularly with flashlight and/or laser mounted on the rail) or vehicle pistol and it is loads of fun at the range. Oh, and don't forget, these pistols are Made in the USA, unlike the standard model 92s.
