||I bought one from Bud's about a year ago. It's one of those guns that just sits in my gun case.
It's not a"bad" gun. I just never pick it to take with me. Cleaning it isn't too bad but not as easy as an AR. If I don't like cleaning a gun, I don't usually like shooting it. All I think about when I'm done is that it is a chore to clean it.
Things to consider.
The large "bump" that hold the iron sights get in the way when mounting a red dot.
They do fold all the way down front and back, but you end up with the protective sides obstructing your view if you flatten out the sigths.
The 17 round variety sounds better than the 15 round but not really. The 17 round mag is based off of the PX4 pistal. You can find Berretta mags that take up to 20 rounds that work nicely but if you get the 15 round mag style based of the Beretta 92 you can get aftermarket 30 round mags. I haven't tried them but 30 rounds would be nice in this platform. You can order modifications to change the mag. if you wanted to go from 15 to 17 and vise versa. I saw them on Berreta's web site.
Accessories for Beretta seem to be expensive.
The trigger is terrible. Very stiff - almost a "scratchy" feeling when you pull it.
The recoil is more than I expected although not terrible.
The "feel" of the gun is nice. The styling is nice. I would say it is good for in doors or close quarters but if you want that, just get a shot gun. It is a lot cheaper. The price is petty good if you compare what you are getting to a good hand gun but if you compare to what you can get for the same price rifle.... I would say your money is best spent somewhere else.
