Upon first receipt, it feels cheap, like plastic or lightweight aluminum. The mechanics click and clack a bit, it has annoying (but understandable) safety devices such as a master lockout (via hexkey), mag safety, and 2-stage safety/decocker.
BUT it shoots smooth and trouble-free, and put down FMJ and JHP rounds, even the cheap Winchester target cartridges. First round was a non-chamber round, but that was it, no misfeeds after that.
AND it holds 9 (which is not 15, but that's all my pathetic state will allow until Legislators get their collective brains out of their crapper). The mag is extended which diminishes its carry potential (don't have to worry because our equally pathetic and self-indulgent, self-righteous police don't let anyone carry anyway, even the ones of good standing with proven firearms track record).
AND it's incredibly accurate compared to my expectations. Obviously it's not a SIG P230/232, but it functions better than the POMFS S&W Walther PPK/S. Follow-up shots are easy and on target given the ergonomics are almost perfectly balanced for the fairly light recoil.
AND 380 ACP is inexpensive, fun to shoot, and fun for the MRS as well.
AND it's incredible, unbelievable value for the money. Given the only complaint I have is the lightweight and almost "plasticky" feel of it, that's really not much of a complaint at all given its performance. Well, it was swimming in grease and dripping with oil out of the box, and had to literally shake it and towel it dry before loading up.
Honestly a good, honest, plain fun shooter, and probably the most outright, hands-down fun I've had at the range since...wow, outside of my .45's mentioned before, I can't think of any.
All-in-all, I'd say 9.5 to 9.75 out of 10. Only my Wilson CQBTLE and Ed Brown EE rank 10 out of the box. Go figure.
