Bersa Thunder 380 .380acp Matte, 7 round DA [THUN380MLT]
by David A
Date Added: Saturday 15 October, 2011
I have a Walther PPK/s and thought I'd try something in the same caliber as PPK but with improved design. Reviews were some of the best I've seen for this style of pistol, so I opted for the Thunder 380 matte. Service from Buds was very good as usual. Went to range and had a few FTF's on last round in the clip. Returned in a few days and shot about 40 rounds with only one FTF. Used Winchester white box FMJ 95 gr. Seems the more you shoot this thing, the better it gets. I am more accurate with the Bersa than PPK. Sights are better on the Bersa (adjustable) and 3 white dots. And I don't get bit (as I do each time I go out with my PPK) due to the extended beavertail. Double action trigger pull is much better than the PPK. Life time warranty to the original owner is a very nice plus. Pistol has a good feel to it, but I am replacing the plastic grips with wood. Just a personal preference. Overall, a nice gun for the price and fun to shoot.
