Bersa Thunder 380 .380acp Duo Tone, 7 round [THUN380DT]
by Jeffrey S
Date Added: Wednesday 23 March, 2011
First, and most important, Bud's was fantastic to deal with. Absolutely fantastic.
As for the Bersa itself, I could not be happier. I only have about 350 rounds through it so far, but it has run flawlessly (using some crappy rounds, too, just for the purposes of testing reliability) and has accuracy which rivals or surmounts any other .380 I have used -- including the SIG 232 and 238, the new Taurus .380, and the Walther PPK and PK380. While, for its size, you might want to try a Kahr or a Ruger LC9 just to have the same capacity but with 9mm ... for some reason, this particular gun points so naturally and is sized so perfectly that I shoot better with it than those alternatives.
So, lessons learned: (1) the Bersa Thunder is a fantastic gun, especially for the money, and (2) I will be dealing exclusively with Bud's from this point on.
