We took the S&W 22a to the range on Sunday. Proceeded to put 70 rounds through the gun we had no problems with the feeding of ammunition as previously reported in other forums. What did happen was the disassembly button on the front of the gun proceeded to fall off the gun (Broke). We then decided to caution on better side of valor and retired the gun for the day, not knowing if anything else would break. I will now need to call S&W and most likely have to ship the gun back for repair.... not too happy about this. Not a very good first impression.
On the positive side:
The gun looks great, and shoots even better; straight out of the box with no sight adjustments I was able to shoot a 2in group freehand. This says allot about a gun to me,
