Smith & Wesson 629 Classic .44 Mag 6 1/2" [163638]

Excellent purchase! There is nothing like opening your brand-new S&W case to see a beautiful piece like the 629 Classic. . . After I did the initial cleaning, I took it to the range and tested her out. . .
Single Action was as light as feather.
Double Action was smooth as silk.
Cylinder cycling, ejection, and casing extraction were flawless and smooth.
Rubber grip was a good fit for me: I'm 5' 6" and 145 lbs and the grip fitted me fine.
I fired various loads of 44 mag and 44 special. . . around 150 total rounds fired. . . not one single problem whatsoever.
For ranges up 35 yards, the sights were good; I had to make a few minute adjustments. . . but I was still hitting center mass ( a little left and up) in decent groups before adjustments.
The revolver, as a whole, was in superb condition.
Have fun showing it off at the range. . . don't bring it out if you don't want some attention.
My only gripe is that Budds was able to process the order in under 12 hrs, but it didn't ship until 8 days had passed (7 business and 1 week-end days). Once it shipped though, it arrived in 2 business days.
Other than the wait (good things come to those who wait), I am entirely satisfied with my purchase. Will buy definitely buy through Budds again.
