This S&W Model 60 is an excellent all stainless steel J-frame revolver. Being all stainless steel helps to tame the recoil of .357 magnum and +P loads. Cylinder lockup is very positive and solidly indexes. Fit and finish overall is typical outstanding S&W quality. Grip is comfortable and fits well in the hand. The only drawback to the Model 60 is the front sight, which is serrated and black in color. I would prefer a red insert. But this drawback is personal preference vice a complaint about the quality of the revolver. As usual, purchasing from Bud's is an excellent experience.
