I bought this puppy so I could carry a small firearm FOR POCKET CARRY. For pocket carry, the 642 is not the ideal choice, but does work well when you have a lot of pocket space and can handle the weight of the gun. I have noticed, due to the width of the cylinder, that people can actually see the butt of the gun in my work pants, so that is a no go.

As for accuracy, I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with this thing. After about 200 rounds of practicing, I could hit a basketball sized target from 21 feet...which is ok. You MUST practice a lot with this gun.

For dependability, I've never encountered a single malfunction with this gun.

Overall, not an ideal choice for pocket carry or precise shooting. Other than that, great gun. Quality is great, btw
